Bradford North District Scouts – Bonfire Night

This year as part of BBITS a Scout active support unit focused on media and IT solutions we were invited to film Bradford North District Scout’s annual Firework Display.

We chose to use the drone as we knew we would be flying above Blackhills Scout Campsite where the event is held, so we knew there would be very little chance of air strike, and even if it happened we knew it would crash safely out of the way of crowds.

We also used a GoPro camera to film the fire taking hold. This camera would be static and just film a time lapse to document the event.

All in all we ended up a great video with some views of fireworks never seen before.

The affect of the fireworks towards the end of the video was caused by the rain, we never saw this when filming as we were trying to land in a clearing in the woods, but the drone caught some fantastic views.
